Hippity Hop!
Isla had fun at her first Easter egg “hunt” with her classmates. Everyone brought in a dozen eggs filled with toys or snacks and Mrs. Lori scattered them out on the field for the kids to collect in their hand-made bunny baskets. Yay!
This One Goes to Eleven
Isla has grown considerably during this past month and has met several milestones. In addition to the phrase “uh-oh,” she says “book” a lot, which sounds more like “cook” or “ook,” but she says it consistently when a book-like object is before her. She also cut her first tooth this month (her bottom right), which is slowly growing in. She’s become more mobile, is crawling on all fours (although still prefers to scoot on her belly when making a fast b-line for something), and stands up in her crib. Just one month before the big 1-year b-day! Wow!

Dante’s First Birthday
Today one of the kids in the playgroup we’ve been going to turned one year old. We met at his home and then later met up at the park near our house.

Isla scopes out the birthday boy’s card.

Can you believe all the babies pictured above are at least part Asian?

Back-to-back swingers!

Swinging
Isla enjoyed her first swing at the park today. She loved it, and even started laughing at one point!
