Birthday Playdate

Today Isla invited some of her baby friends over for a birthday playdate. Gramma came too to see all the little ones playing nicely with each other. At the height of it, there were a total of 13 moms with their babies!

Dante’s First Birthday

Today one of the kids in the playgroup we’ve been going to turned one year old. We met at his home and then later met up at the park near our house.

Isla had fun meeting some other babies today at her new East Chula Vista playgroup!

Terrific Little Children

Today we met at Camila & Andrew’s place for some TLC and TLC (Tender Lovin’ Care while dining on delicious food from their restaurant, The Little Chihuahua). Cousin Ka’le (who knew Camila through art school) and his family were in town, so it was a nice gathering of bambinos!

Rites of Passage

During our pregnancy, we met two other expecting couples through Rites of Passage midwifery and today we met them for a reunion with our babies on the outside. Our midwives Nancy and Michelle were there, along with Kara, the new apprentice. Wayee and Ethan (parents of Willa and Bennett) opened up their home to us for a wonderful Sunday brunch.

We all had girls! Isla, Adeline, and Willa. (Isla is about a month older than the other two.)
