It’s Beginning to Look a lot like Christmas!
Isla had the honor of “lighting” the big Christmas tree in the heart of Coronado during its annual holiday parade. It’s just one perk of being the Mayor’s niece! For photos of this event, click here and type in the password “tanaka” (you can also order prints, if you’re so inclined).
Halloween 2011
Halloween was a special treat this year because we were visited by our San Francisco pals: Camila, Andrew, Cassius, and Kane. We had a fantastic time trick-or-treating in our ‘hood and making dinner afterwards. Scroll down to the bottom pic to see Isla’s gesture after being told that was her last piece of candy!
4th of July
We celebrated this Independence Day by having friends come over to the Cocomoon for a good old-fashioned BBQ. Jason brought Isla a giant bear and later Isla sported her hand-knit dress that Auntie Adelle made her. Wow!
