Happy Hauntings!
Pics from Isla’s first Halloween!

Jack ‘o Lantern outfit compliments of Papaw Steve!

Gramma Karin provided this bib for our drooling pumpkin pie!

Sweet pea!

The pea pod outfit turned out to be a bit too small without much wiggle room, so Isla turned back into a pumpkin for the remainder of the evening.

We hung out with the TLC fam for dinner and treats.

Cassius finally allowed his dinosaur costume to be put on just in time for trick-or-treating.

Isla watched from the warm stroller as the neighborhood kids collected candy.

The moms did most of the hoofing!

And the dads too.

Most of the time, this lil’ dino preferred to ride his friend’s bike over eating candy–until he got home to a full pumpkin, that is!

Sleepy Isla dreams of future Halloweens when she can walk and fill her boiler with tasty treats.

Heh! I thought the same thing about that poor kid. I didn’t notice him/her when I took the photo since it was dark. I wonder what the story was. A snide costume comment? A rock instead of candy? Too much trickery without enough treats? Better luck next year, O Sad One!
And, for the record, Isla has two identical panda bibs (one from you, the other from Grammy Sue). But she goes through multiple bibs a day, so they are much appreciated!

What is up with the sad kid on the stairs in the “And the Dads Too” pic? I’ve never seen such quiet desperation on the best night of the year!
Thanks for all the pics–those big blues never fail to elicit admiration.
Isla’s gettin’ some good use out of her panda bib! She must have a soft spot for those nightmare creatures with black hearts.
